Hello there, and welcome to my world of creativity and storytelling! I'm Katie, also known as Ms. Katie by my students, and I'm thrilled to be a children's author, illustrator, and art teacher. As an artist and educator, I believe every child has the potential to become an artist and storyteller, and I'm committed to guiding them in discovering their unique talents to reach their creative independence.

To give you a little backstory, my career began as a preschool teacher over 20 years ago. During my time in the classroom, I learned that every child has their own learning style and temperament, which inspired me to create art activities and write stories for young children. Through my work, I have been able to help children grow and explore their creative side.
